The firm and its affiliates need to collect certain information for administrative and legal purposes, but do not disclose the personal information of clients or customers to any other person, except as required to perform administrative or “account” servicing tasks (such as provided by a clearing firm, prime broker, bank, or custodian) or as may be required by regulatory authorities or for other legal purposes. Client and customer information is secured, whether in paper or electronic form, as the access to it is limited to authorized persons. Personal information is not shared with any marketers, and no client or customer lists are sold to third parties for marketing purposes. Information is shared between affiliates for administrative and regulatory purposes only, and not for sales or marketing purposes, unless otherwise approved by clients or customers in advance.
